The horseback riding girls at the North Texas American Saddlebred Horse Association show kicked off Halloween’s spooky season with a equine costume parade. Show horses donned ghoulish outfits, funny hats, and super heroes before the judge in the show ring.

Trainers at horse shows put on their best face not only in the ring but in the temporary stalls for the horses from their respective stables or barns.
The Mill-Again Stables of Plano, Texas decorated their stalls in a Halloween pumpkin motif that added a festive ambiance to the North Texas American Saddlebred Horse Association show at the Las Colinas Equestrian Center in October of 2011.

Lance The Funny Smiling Horse Does Stupid Pet Tricks
We met Lance the carriage horse in St Augustine, Florida doing a story about the St. Augustine Transfer Company which was formed in 1877. Lance is a Haflinger Horse. It is a breed developed in Austria and Northern Italy during the late 19th Century. They were used in both World Wars to pull cannons and other supplies.
With a little help from one of his drivers, Lance showed us his stupid pet trick.
